Fish carburettor

Never come across them before but I'd say you'd need at least a triple carb set up to run one of our flatheads.

A standard 1000cc A series engined Mini runs an 1-1/4" SU carb  for comparison on my Ford Zodiac which has a 2600cc straight six i'm running triple 1-1/2" SU's which was a period upgrade in the day to replace the original single Zenith carb.

Still would be a cool thing to see and a good talking point at a show and obviously you'd need to make an intake manifold as well.

as owner of a few cars that were electronic fuel injected 45 years ago....many folks do not understand the operation and or do not take the time to properly identify the simple problem many of them suffer which is a low dollar fix and opt to install carburetors instead.  I removed EFI from one years ago as built the car to European specs.  I just got another one of these cars...running dual 40IDF Webers...these carbs are relatively low maintenance dependable units with little history of carb body wear at the throttle shafts due to roller ball bearings on each side of the shaft.  I also have a number of SU carbs, in single and dual carb configuration. for their simplicity and performance along with good economy, they are extremely nice carbs......the worse in my book are the Stromberg carbs be it single or dual....as for the Fish and the Pogue carbs....if they were what they advertised to be...I cannot see how the company went bankrupt on every start up...
