Fire Wall Cable Loom

Recommended Posts

1949 Dodge B1B.  The cable loom mounted to the center of the fire wall has 4 depressions in it.  I know the throttle and choke cable use 2 of them.  My truck has the water temp guage tube running through one of them.  Does the remaining depression have anything going through it?  On the military trucks seems the tube for the oil pressure also ran through this loom. My B1B has a rubber grommeted hole that the oil pressure line goes through.  Is this correct or should it be going through the loom?  Regards to all.

I used my truck's fourth slot for the oil pressure line but if made it awkward to install the dash cluster because the oil line tubing was not flexible.
