Greg51T&CWagon
Got my build card in the mail today. A few surprises. First off it's stamped "Boat" ? Yeah, it's a land yacht but? Also it has a punch next to Taxi Pkg? Anyone got any ideas what that would mean, there's no sign of it being a taxi that i see? Thanks Greg
plymouthcranbrook
Perhaps to be shipped by boat?
Plymouthy Adams
perhaps a ferry at some river crossing...... shipped by boat may be logical...I thought the historical society gave you the destination of the car from the point of build....this may shed a clue... Greg51T&CWagon
Yep, Probably right. It went to Nutley NJ outside NYC in North jersey. So right at a port. The taxi thing I thought was odd. Does that just mean HD suspension? Greg
Plymouthy Adams
could well be....in 1966 my father bought a 66 Fury 4 door new off the lot......years later on reading the build sheet it turned out it was marked as taxi cab and that included a number of HD/premium features.
