Not sure what you do for a living but I've been doing "real work" since I was 16 and have the bad back, shoulders, elbows, and knees to prove it. I was a big city police sergeant for 25 years, about 7 years piloting a helicopter. No, it was not pick and shovel work but I've had 2 knee replacements and a couple rotator cuff repairs for my efforts. My "real work" only lasted for minutes at a time.
