Replacement fog lamps for '39 Dodge D11?

Hello,

I noticed one of my fog lamps is out and want to replace it...of course I can't find an NOS one on Ebay that is the same.  Does anyone know if these are knockoffs or the real deal?  The diameter of the exposed lens portion is 4" and the diameter of the whole bezel is 5" overall.  Any suggestions on where to find these?

Thanks,

-Chris

Looks like mine needs the little cutout for the screw hole that I don't see on that one.

remove the lamp from your unit and photograph the screw hole for me...thanks

as stated earlier....READ THE AD......he has the 6V available but pictured is a 12v and you can see it is a H3 design...give the man a chance before marking it off as a done deal and not of use....may be similar but does not hurt to ask about fit and style of the 6 volt lamp...the lamp clearly shows the notch at the bottom of the lamp

The correct style of fog lamps for the 39 Dodge would require the use of the seperate bulb just lik in your headlights. Sealed beam bulbs did not come into production until 1940 with the use of sealed beam headlights.

Also the correct uprights for the foglamps would be the bigger style  brakets. The ones that Unity sell are not the correct style but will get you by if you are judging the car.  I have a 39 desoto so I am very familar with your car since the 39 desoto and 39 Dodge body are basically the same.
