motterso Posted October 5, 2017 Report Share Posted October 5, 2017 For a flathead that slotted side should go towards the distributor (which would be the right side of the engine if you are looking at it from the front). Branded Posted October 5, 2017 Author Report Share Posted October 5, 2017 (edited) Gotcha, slot towards distributor side. I always called everything right and left sitting in drivers seat.
