greg g
Does any know or have a table showing 2nd gear ratios for the standard three speed through the years?? I know there was a longer second available in 40/41, as compared to the P15 set. I have a trans from a 56 sitting in the garage and wondered if it was the same as the 46 box. My manual, and parts book show nothing regarding ratios. Also is there a name or number assigned to these transmissions?

greg g
I did get confirmation that 46 - 54 were 1.83 to 1. Now I wonder what change was made in 55.
