ptwothree
Anyone know of a source for a 1" carb spacer for a carter bb? Or is this a diy project. Looking to use it as a drill and tap mount for a pcv valve. I don't want to reinvent the wheel in case one exist all ready.
Pete
I got one from this guy on eBay: http://stores.ebay.com/dashmanshotrodandspeedparts/ He labels it "2 Bolt Phenolic Riser Carter Holley Autolite Carburetor Intake Manifold Spacer" but he assured me that it fits the BB and it does. He has them in various thicknesses. Send him an email. Pete
1949 Wraith
This might work and the price is good. They are used on the '54 chev 235 inline 6 with the Rochester carb. They are only about 1\2 inch thick but I'm pretty sure they are 3" bolt centers, I can check if you are interested. http://www.classicparts.com/1954-62-Carburetor-Insulator-L-6-235/productinfo/81-212/#.WXEMy4jyvyQ
