greg g
For you engine aficionados. Can you name it?
Plymouthy Adams
I am going to say NASH
greg g
Built farther east.
Plymouthy Adams
I admit 6 individual covers mixed with side draft is a twist...the design screams diesel but yet the engine appears air cooled...cycle jugs...
Flatie46
I've seen old American La France fire truck engines that had separate cyl heads and barrels like that.

Niel Hoback
Franklin??
bamfordsgarage
Franklin for sure. Air-cooled. In a period-look speedster. The side draft carbs are obviously more modern. Franklins were distinctive not only for air cooling, but also used wooden frame rails from day one until the very late '20s. This speedster has a steel frame, which could be late Franklin or perhaps some other make.
greg g
The frame was Packard, the running gear Franklin, the carbs Italian, the body mostly home made. Wood spoke wheels, three inch open exhaust, America LaFrance driver passenger seat. Sounded great.
