desoto1939 Posted July 11, 2017 Report Share Posted July 11, 2017 Use a plastic putty knife and as suggested above use a heat gun or possibly a hair dryer to heat up the old rubber and soften it then it should scrape off. greg g Posted July 11, 2017 Report Share Posted July 11, 2017 Spray some penetrating oil on it for a couple days. Pb blaster WD 40 put a couple layers of paper towels over it and respray ASD necessary to keep it wet for a couple days then use a razor scraper and a heat gun.
