Jj1981
Truck has sat since mid 80s. I have it idling now clutch pedal travels but no pressure wondering if there is fluid to check need info where to start 1950 b2b thanks
HotRodTractor
The clutch isn't hydraulic - it is shaft driven. The pedal turns a shaft that is attached to the throwout fork that should move the throwout bearing and activate the fingers on your clutch. There could be broken parts, missing or sheared key, etc.... You'll have to check the linkage first. Its been a while since I have been under the truck- but you should be able to pull off the access cover and watch the linkage move the throwout bearing from under the truck with someone in the cab moving the pedal.

Don Coatney
Start the truck in gear and make a few laps around the barn while holding the clutch pedal all the way down. Accelerate and decelerate a few times and the clutch should break free. I have done this several times and it works.

Jj1981
All was good on the clutch I had to build a bushing for the shift rod on the transmission. Once that was done I was able to crank and engage the clutch with no problem
