DTA
I'm taking apart my 1953 cranbrook so that i can repaint it and i have all the moldings off the entire car. However I'm stuck on the front grill. I have never seen or dealt with these style clips before. Any help would be great! i don't know how to actually remove them with out damaging them incase i need to reuse them or if they even sell them. Thanks guys for any and all input! I had more pictures but it wouldn't let me upload them.
pflaming
I have several of these grills. I'm not home to confirm, but I think you close them with a pliers then gently twist. Good lock.
DTA
Thank you! I got a them off. But my question now would be how would I put them back on? Do I just spread the tab back open with a flat blade screwdriver? Again thanks you
pflaming
I thin they may have enough memory in them to snap in. To assure that, a screw driver should work.
