plyroadking
Looks like you've got some stacking to do. My grandfather used to joke about the number of heatings you'd get out of firewood. One heating when you cut it, another when you spilt it, again when you stacked it, and finally when you burned it.
Plymouthy Adams
That amount of wood would last me years. I do not normally need to run the huge heater but a few weeks at best and I was most pleased with the performance of my hydronic sytem this past winter. That represents a lot of work and the stacking while not hard work is also time consuming. The wife should have been able to stack this as you cut and split...fair is fair!!!!!!
casper50
Very true PRK. But, with my back I have to hire a teenager to stack it. Rather give a good hard working kid some money than kill my back. lol
casper50
That's what I told her. You really don't want to hear what she told me.
Todd B
That give me wood!! Looks like 30 face cord to me. I love cutting, splitting, stacking and mostly burning wood. Many child hood memory's for me.

And again when you carry it into the house. I was taught to stack the firewood next to the outhouse...two birds with one stone kinda thing.
