But now the fuel pump is spitting fuel out of the little hole on the side I have changed it for the one of my 1950 Plymouth and still the same thing happens Any ideas to what's wrong Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If not,you need one. If you have one already,get a better one. I would also try draining a little gas out into a clear jar so you can see if there is any trash in your gas once it has settled. The gas is clean and free from trash Mind you the Plymouth one was fill of trash so I reckon that's toast as well Looks like I'll need a new pump or rebuild kit then Why does this always happen when you have a person coming to look at buying your car......... mightmo52 Posted June 12, 2017 Report Share Posted June 12, 2017 where did you but the pumps from ? if its a ethanol resistant fuel pump thats a great deal . the ones from rock auto are the airtex 73201 and are poor quality with a cheap mexican diaphram.
