Got a picture of one removed? Those look very similar to dodge truck ones on my 46-47s.

Would this be how they are looking?

Those appear to be the correct spring. There are two for the passenger side glove box and one for the driver side glove box. My Canadian parts book shows the numbers for the springs are, #714583,for the passenger side glove box and #723123 for the driver side glove box - different part numbers, although to me the springs themselves look the same. The 1936 DeSoto, Dodge and Plymouth use the same springs. I took these two photos of my 1936 DeSoto glove boxes.
