40Club Posted February 23, 2017 Report Share Posted February 23, 2017 I Recently acquired a 1950 218 with a 3 speed manual trans, and a 265 Chrysler with an automatic transmission. my question is will these two flywheels interchange without machining or crankshaft swapping. i would like to use the 265 with the manual trans as i have an R10 overdrive. dpollo Posted February 23, 2017 Report Share Posted February 23, 2017 If your 218 is an American engine with a 4 hole crankshaft, you may have some difficulty with the position of the ring gear This is a topic which has been discussed elsewhere on this forum.
