Nick Nichols Posted January 29, 2017 Report Share Posted January 29, 2017 I'm trying to get the correct carb rebuild kit for this carb but having trouble. Every kit I've looked at offers two different types of needle and seat assemblies. The male threading is the same on both assemblies. My carb opening where the needle and seat fit into is slightly larger. I have yet to find the correct needle and seat in any kit. Any info greatly appreciated. Dodgeb4ya Posted January 29, 2017 Report Share Posted January 29, 2017 The D6G1 should use the typical and very common Carter #25-82S needle and seat assembly. Sometimes the threaded opening gets enlarged by people messing them up. The Only other B and B carb (E9G1) uses a much larger needle and seat #25-225S and is for the big Moly Block 413 six with twin carb engines. A 1/2" X 1/8" type fitting.
