40plyrod Posted December 24, 2016 Report Share Posted December 24, 2016 (edited) Our area is fortunate to have a forest/pioneering museum that also runs a steam train which runs most of the summer, but they also bring it out for the Halloween Ghost train and the Polar express. We took our kids and our niece out to ride it last night, just wanted to share. Merry Christmas to all. We also have a Christmas train in our area, They take you on a ride out through the country side, at one point they stop and read a Christmas story to the kids and Santa makes a special appearance, We've done this for the last 11yrs. This year we decided to due something different, due to the wild fires in Gatlinburg we decided to go there and help the local economy.
