bamfordsgarage
Thanks Tim, I'd never seen that one. My wife says "Gee, the Dodge looks pretty good there" (gives an idea how ratty it looks now).
Ulu
P.A. is that your yellow Sunbeam up above? I got to test drive one once (not the Tiger, just the 4-banger) but I couldn't afford it at the time. An incredibly fun car & seeing that reminds me how much I used to want one when I was 19 or 20. Ulu
Oh. The V8 was a big difference you're saying.... I imagine it was. I had two of those small Ford V8's, one in a Custom 500 coupe, and one in a Mustang fastback. Pretty fair engines in their day. I knew a guy who put one in a MG Midget. Well, he really put a midget body shell and windshield onto a custom tube chassis, with a 289 V8 and modern suspension. He worked at the muffler shop on Belmont in Fresno. I wonder what ever happened to that car... Someone stole my Midget before I ever had a chance to do much with it. Plymouthy Adams
Thanks Neal...for the correction...was out of town and had to drive 30 minutes to find a computer to go online and then only had about 15 minutes before having to shoot back across the mountain..
