bluefoxamazone
hello, just filled the old girl up... ( ;-) ) The reading on the gauge shows only 3/4 full. Can this be adjusted or is something more serious going on?... thanks for the advice. greetings from a drizzly Belgium
Plymouthy Adams
you will have to trouble shoot a bit more to determine if you have a serious problem or not..could be as simple as a heavy/impregnated float...or could actually be a bad component or simple again as a faulty wiring run/connection.. cerick305
I have a similar problem, when completely full I get a reading of 3/4 full. When completely empty, I get a reading of 1/4 full.

mopar_earl
Stops might need adjusted, float arm bent, someone replaced the sending unit using one that doesn't fully match the OE ohms, bad ground to name a few things. soth122003
Mine reads about 1/2 a tank with key on, and empty with key off. Manual says the #2 post is grounded out. Checked the sending unit with a meter and its reading 0 ohms empty or full. Sucks cause I put in about a year and half ago. Joe
