That looks like Mopar heaven to me! It looks familiar too, since my very first car was a 1950 Chrysler Windsor club coupe and I currently own a rare, only 1,950 built in three years, 48 DeSoto 3 window coupe. The guy with the 52 Chrysler Imperial business coupe, must be something wrong there as they never made one. Maybe what you really have is a club coupe with a back seat. The other green 1950 Chrysler is a NewYorker straight eight cylinder 2 door hardtop. As for my 1946 Chrysler 3 pass cpe, Chrysler made 701 1946-48 Chrysler NewYorker straight eight 3 pass cpes-very rare to say the least. Dodgeb4ya Posted January 4, 2015 Report Share Posted January 4, 2015 Don, The twin coils are needed because of the vintage odd distributor. It's a "Spalding Flamethrower" distributor that uses an ignition coil to feed each side of the distributor ...one coil for the left bank and one for the right bank. Pics are not of my distributor.
