wiring harness

Hello everyone, I'm a new 1951 B3B Pilothouse owner, just got mine last week and am starting to build a wiring harness.  I've read through the instructions on the "Truck Knowledge" website and have studied the drawings/schematics now for a dumb question.  Can I reuse the headlight plugs or do I need to try and locate replacements.  I can't figure our how to get the old wires out so I can reused these plugs.  Thanks for any help.  I'm certain I'll have more questions as i continue the journey.

Mine had good wire going to them, so I cut the wire about 3"s from the plug and soldered on new wiring, but the pigtails are readily available as well. You do need to change your park light socket if you want to convert it to turn signals and park lights, but that's easy to find too. I'm going to the signals inside the headlights now with a upgrade from SoCal...and other option if you want better headlights and easier signals

You may want to have a look at http://www.waytekwire.com They carry the old Packard 56 connectors and pins. They are listed under Delphi. Their PDF catalog is well worth a look if you are building a wire harness from scratch. I'm not affiliated with them, just a satisfied customer that thought their selection and pricing was reasonable.
