1939 Plymouth truck pedal car

very cool truck, if its homemade, hes a metal master. I personally think if it was homemade, like the guy pounded the fenders etc, I would think he would have made a better windshield frame. Thats what makes me think its a production truck, rare indeed I would think, but all a guess on my part.

I wonder if this was a dealer promotional piece that someone got a hold of and modified?  I remember my father taking me to the local MoPar dealer back in the late 50's and them having a Desoto bodies electric car about the same size as this.  As a kid I thought that was pretty cool.   Still do!
