Barsteel
Hello! Just got the blower motor on my '52 Plymouth working, but didn't get any air inside the car. I checked the tar paper/cardboard ducting underneath the hood and found a huge hole through which I could see a big nasty mouse nest up against the under hood heater core. I removed the duct hoping that I could somehow save it with duct tape, but it disintegrated as soon as I took it out. Anyone make these, or does anyone have a suggestion for a fix? Acutally, AMS Obsolete Parts does have one in stock, but it's $295, which strikes me as a bit steep for what is basically a cardboard box. Thanks... suntennis
Look on Ebaymotors for your car and there is usually one of these ducts for sale. As I recall the bids start around $125 and the buy price is around $160.

Tones52
Barsteel, jsturner's thread that Don provided a link to is money. My duct was patched well by the previous owner but I'm always so careful when under that hood because I know it's pretty delicate. Good luck.
