pflaming
I am currently conversing with a member on restoring the 'scissor' top frame. He has been VERY helpful, so thankful we connected or I would have make a HUGE misteak! I would be very comfortable to continue with his help, yet conversation on other's knowledge and experience may be helpful to all. Question: I am currently soaking all hinges with Liquid Wrench penetrating oil, which in my experience is far superior to PB Blaster and WD 40. When I return in four weeks, I'm going to get some acetone and mix it 50/50 with ATF which is even better. My goal is to get it all free so I can manually easily raise and lower it. I do not think I will take the risk of disassembling that frame. Comments are welcome. This is what I have work with and to make operable again.
