Mine and the one I'm going to copy for my convertible are shown below. Don Coatney has a beautiful blue/green pic. Some are silver, I recall a really nice black one and many more. Show us your FLATHEAD engines, preferable outside the vehicle but not necessarily so. Many of you have posted before, but to have a collection would be helpful. There are little details in each engine that are very helpful in making a nice presentation. Young Ed Posted June 17, 2013 Report Share Posted June 17, 2013 Here's mine after an in the car touchup and the addition of the hard piping for the dual heaters. I like to see the various ways spark plug wires are run, head bolts/nuts, carbs, air cleaners, and other details. There is a tremendous amount of creativity put into the engines. To me they are trophies! I love em. I don't know the builder of this one, but WOW! Love those manifolds and the fuel and vacuum lines. That is pure artistry.
