busycoupe
I watched an old Alan Ladd movie on Netflix last night. "Appointment with Danger" (1951). It was a film noir cops and robbers movie. I think that the Chrysler Corp. must have had the contract to supply vehicles. Nearly every car in the movie was a Mopar. D24s, P15s, 48 Chrysler, 49 or 50 Chrysler, several Desoto cabs... The movie wasn't bad, but watching the cars was great. The cars appeared to be moving pretty quickly in some of the chase scenes. BigDaddyO
On the Munsters tv show in the episode "Movie Star Herman" there is one scene where a Dodge Route Van is shown in Postal livery as the 'camera car'. It looks brand new.

greg g
The Los Angeles assembly plant a few blocks away from the studios probably didn't hurt either. Sam Spade, Andy Hardy, Nancy Drew, were MoPaR drivers.
JerseyHarold
Plymouth P23's are my favorite and I've compiled a good-sized list of movies and TV shows that had them. It's fun to see them in their original settings.
