Plymouthy Adams Posted April 6, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 6, 2013 (edited) the car was advertised as a Dart but it is a 1962 Polara 2 door hard top..I like the Polara trim better as it is anyway...the Polara was my first choice so am happy....other than the normal cowl rot which is as I understand rather common..it is a nice car overall...PO took it apart..bagged and labeled everything...did not body work to which I am happy and the reason I went ahead with getting the car...came with some 413 max wedge clone parts but they interest me not Edited April 6, 2013 by Plymouthy Adams Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

greg g Posted April 6, 2013 Report Share Posted April 6, 2013 62's were unique, and much better looking than the backward fin 61's. Around here they had a very short live span because of road salt, many of them showed lots of rust through in 3 years. I was working at the local Dodge dealer in high school and they had a 62 polara more door for dealership errands, courtesy car, chasing/delivering parts, DMV runs etc. It was a 2bbl 383 with torque flight.
