.... Love old motorcycles.My first ride was a '49 Indian Arrow..Second was a '49 BSA B33...Then I got into cars,(The girls' parents didn't appreciate me showing up on a motorcycle)....So, I bought  a car and off we went  to the drive-in theatre  :) .. I  currently own a 1971 Bonneville.

I love vintage dirt bikes!! This is the type bikes I grew up dreaming about below.

In the last 10 years I have had several

1974 Penton 175 Jackpiner

1975 Penton 250

1972 Hodaka 125 Wombat (Street Legal)

1972 Hodaka 125 Combat Wombat

1974 Hodaka 125 Super Combat

1983 Yamaha Yz 250

1983 Maico 250 Sand Spider

1984 Kawasaki KDX 200---AWSOME Bike!!

1985 Husqvarna WR 250

1980 Can Am 250 Qualifier

and a 1985 Honda Sabre 1100 with only 2500 miles (0-60 in 3.1 Seconds top speed of 176!!) It was a handful!! I only put 1,000 miles on it before I sold it.I was to scared to ride it on the street all I could think about was the idiots in the cars around me.

All the ones above have moved on to new owners.

Now I have a 1976 Hodaka 250 Thunderdog---and a 1984 and 1985 Yamaha YZ 250 that I use for vintage Cross Country Dirt Bike Racing.

I also have my modern Dirt Bike a KTM 200.

  • 2 weeks later...

Only 2 older ones in my current stable. 1971 Honda CL100 with a CB100 low style exhaust pipe instead of a CL Scrambler pipe. 1963 Honda CL72, 248cc Parallel twin Scrambler with CB72 low pipes, no fenders, no side panels, CB77 (305) twin leading shoe rear dum and Suzuki T500 Titan front twin leading shoe drum in a Ceriani CB/CL 77 type front fork. Vintage track bike project. Was a race bike in the late 60s.

Other bikes are a 1996 Suzuki Intruder 800 (Lisa's), 1998 Suzuki LS650 Savage (mine, heavily modified), and a 1999 Kawasaki VN1500 Drifter (Chief knock off) that should turn 81K miles old this week...
