P15-D24
You may run into an issue with the ujoints and parking brake hub, They are different between the 3/4 and 1 T.
Merle Coggins
The engine is no problem. It should be a 230 vrs. your 218, so externally there is no difference. What trans comes with it and which trans do you have now? Both 4 speeds, or both 3 speeds? If one's a 3 and one a 4 speed your driveshaft may be the wrong length. If it's a 4 speed, is it the early spur gear type or the later syncro-mesh type? And as GTK says, if the doner powerplant came from a '48-early '50 you'll likely have to swap output flanges of the trans to match your u-joints. lugnut123
The only part I was worryed about was the u joints. I think the frame has a 9 foot bed on it.It is supose to be a 50 model with a 4 speed and I need a 4 speed for my b-3-c. Does anyone need a 9 foot bed?? noel in nm
