Nice 46-47! I have a set of those same lights you have on the cowl that I should install as turn signals. I was going to put mine down in the front though. Did they weld shut the other holes for the cowl lights?

Spencer;

Glad you found your way over here and as I told you your truck looks great. This place is much better than the HAMB in my opinion. There was a recent thread about installing a T-5 in a truck. Learn to use the forum search and you will find a lot of information. Are you Army? Ft Campbell?

Very cool, SSD. Congrats and welcome to the forum. (I see you're from New Berlin..., that wouldn't happen to be New Berlin, Wisconsin, would it?)

I've got a thread on mating a t5 to my flathead for my next 39-47 pickup. I haven't gotten any further with it though so no details of fitting it into the frame etc.

Yup texas and I'm 11B and heres some pics of the clipper and the bike don't have any of the wife's. Pawpaw restored the Packard once finishing in the early 80s so it is a GREAT platform, it has one hole in the fender and a couple under the rear driver door (I want somebody to teach me to lead for that spot) and thats about it. It has a 327 straight 8 9 bearing 3 speed manual with manual overdrive all the trim is there the pot metal crome grill cracked but thats it i think some time with the tig and i can send it for re-chrome. The interior is beautiful with only the carpet fading. Thad about sums it up.

Your wife's gift is special in itself. Even sweeter since you are away contributing more than most can imagine. Thank you! Be safe. And savor the moment and your good fortune in having such a special woman to welcome you back home.

I have a Edmunds two two barrell intake manifold for the Packard if you are interested. Was going to use it on my rod project along with a McChuloch v57 supercharger but I don't think I have the skills to build it. Well let me know if you are interested.
