the clips for the inner fender to outer fender ACME bolts? Those are ACME threads and are not available thru any source I was able to find...I snap them up off every truck I see when I go picking, I might have an extra or two.

I thought those were 5/16-24 (fine) thread, like all other 5/16" body screws and bolts on these trucks?

But yes, no one makes (that I've found) a 5/16" fine u-nut. All are coarse threads.

for the next person looking for the fender j-nut and bolts 5/16-24. just got a package of them from AMK Products inc. kind of a bummer on the minimum order but they are the correct thread :)

I think the j-nut looks good post-6005-0-79678600-1415502450_thumb.jpg (Left is my original) the washer on the bolt isn't square but, I figure I can use them on the floor boards  :)

not a lot of Chrysler products in the catalog they sent post-6005-0-89779800-1415502569_thumb.jpg

the minimum is $30. plus shipping........ I ended up with a pack of 50, I thought I could use them on the floor boards and fenders.

Brent,

Thanks for posting #8 above a few years ago on www.amkproducts.com.

While I have about 8 original J-Nuts that I could clean up like the one in my photos I found it simpler for me to just buy all new ones.

I tested them out on my fenders, floor pan, and the cowl where the center hood section connects and they fit in all areas easily.

I liked that the new ones are stamped T 56-24 just like the original ones.

Phil
