Yes, it's a nice looking place and really, the closest to my ranch.....about 12 miles.

You can stay here as long as you like, I know a hotel room can be a bit more private, but there is room here

and you are more than welcome to stay as long as you need to!

Sure Don, post a picture of my back... :P  That was a fun day at Tim A's party. I'm looking forward to meeting some west coast folk at Tim E's party.

Bud, if you only count driving miles you'd win... ;)  considering I'll only be driving around 20 miles to the Milwaukee airport, then the 50 or 60 miles from Sacramento to Tim's house. Mark, it might be pretty close. You're farther west than me, but farther north too. Could be a wash. Get yourself a plane ticket... last one there buys the beer. :D

Tim,

If you don't mind putting me up for a couple of nights I'll take you up on the offer.

Not much better Don. And I'm not even in the second picture. I believe I was at the other end of the horseshoe range. Didn't anyone get any pictures of my other side?

Mark,

I missed Sunday's game. Did your guys spank my guys again at Soldier Field? It's just not our hear this year.

no Merle, the BADgers pulled to a 3-0 goal lead and the Gophers only managed to get 2 goals before the final buzzer.  The BADgers played the conditions (horrible outdoor ice) better than the Gophers so they get the "W".

So we split the weekend. I can live with that. :)

basically a "win" for the Gophers, sweep at home & split on the road is the adage of every coach, just most likely cost us a chance at the McNaughton Cup tho.

I thought you guys were talking about animals, then realized you WERE! What a jump from a BBQ to hockey.

Tim, I'm thinking of throwing my camping gear in and come up on Friday afternoon. Is anyone else trailering in on Friday?

Next week I'm going to take my truck up the hill into the mountains for a 'sustained' test. It's a nice climb the first 30 miles which will be a good quick exam. Wish me success. With mechanics there is not luck, it must be done correctly. Flying is much easier, because the only time a pilot has to be accurate is the last five miles!

We will be trailering in around Friday too. Depends on how the trip from Washington state goes.

You'll go right past my place on the way to Tim's.  If you want, you can come by here and I'll "escort" you the rest of the way.  I'm about 10 miles off HWY 99, which is the route you'd take to get to Tim's.  If you're interested, send me a PM and I'll give you directions to my place and my phone number.  From here it's about 30-40 minutes to Tim's.  It'll be my pleasure...
