George Asche Overdrive

There have been some posts regarding problems with George Asche's overdrives. I am sorry for those who have had those problems but I just wanted to let everyone know how pleased I am with the work George did on mine. After literally years of trying to get mine to work I finally took it to George. He was a real pleasure to deal with and I couldn't be happier with how my overdrive now works.

Jim, I totally agree with you. I have installed three overdrive trannies from George, two in P15's and now one in my P20. The only problem I ever had was a bad lockout switch on the first one and I called George about it and he mailed one out the next day no charge. I'm very happy with George and his service. I love the overdrives, I'll go anywhere I want without worrying. Richie.

George did my P-9 OD about 2 years ago. There were discussions at the time that the 40 Ply would not be a good candidate due to gear ratios, power, etc.

After discussing with George, He told me I would be pleased especially with the "fast 2nd feature" I would have. He was 100% right.

I am a happy camper

Don
