Signal Stat 900 problem.

Recommended Posts

I wired it up as per the instructions, pulled the flashers on and I have 3 of 4 lights working. No passenger side rear. I switched wires at the rear bumper and now the there is no drivers side rear, but the passenger side rear works.

Could it be a bad contact inside the unit?

The black wire coming out of the unit doesn't appear to be working.

Check for power with a test light at that black wire coming out of the unit. If there's nothing there then yes I'd say something is wrong internally. Is this a new 900 or something you bought used?

Came on the truck 30+ years ago.

I found the problem. Broken rivet on the circuit board. A little solder and it works perfectly. :)
