ssdodge51
How do you remove the outside door lock on the right door? Anybody have any door latch springs? My left door latch is in poor condition. I would buy a good door latch if anybody has one. Thanks, Steve Edited February 11, 2011 by ssdodge51
Desotodav
Steve The oz trucks have a small slotted-head screw holding the lock assembly in on the inside of the door. I'd imagine your trucks to be the same in your part of the world. Remove the fittings on the back of the lock, remove the retaining screw and gently prise the lock assembly out - that should work! Jim Gaspard
About a year ago I went through my door lock phase. Here are some good pictorials of what you're up against, particularly if you have a stubborn lock removal. http://www430.pair.com/p15d24/mopar_forum/showthread.php?t=20187&highlight=door+lock
ssdodge51
Thanks, that is what I suspected but wasn't sure. I had the same problem on my 37 Ford and it was a similar situation. I really need a left door latch assembly.
