BobT-47P15
There have been some on ebay, in colors even, but I think they are solid and not hollow like the originals. The guy I got mine from a while back indicated he was not making any more........he was selling them for around $125. They were clear plastic and hollow. I looked on ebay and don't see any of those for sale right now. If you have an old plastic that isn't too totally bad, they can be polished some and made to look a bit better. Lighting an ornament up is pretty simple. They did offer an accessory light kit in the old days, but you can do what greg g did - I believe he used a side marker light from the auto supply. CUHEMIDA
they use to be a guy in CT that restored them can't remember his name not even sure he is still alive maybe someone might know him he did a really nice job he was able to replace missing parts and match the colors
Frank Elder
I believe Frank M. from Omaha has a son who makes them, shoot him a PM and see. Although it might be just the light kit......I am not sure.

busycoupe
The lighted hood ornament looks really cool! Unfortunately I have a Dodge. Has anyone ever seen a light up rams head? I doubt it was a factory option, but perhaps one existed on the aftermarket. Any body have one?
Captain Neon
The lighted hood ornament looks really cool! Unfortunately I have a Dodge. Has anyone ever seen a light up rams head? I doubt it was a factory option, but perhaps one existed on the aftermarket. Any body have one? Couldn't a two-piece mold be made of the ram's head and then cast in Lucite w/ a light behind? I simply don't know, but may be similar to the lighted Chief Pontiac.
BobT-47P15
Can't recall that I've ever seen a plastic ornament for the D24. Would be kinda cool, though. The ball of invention is in your court.

Plymouthy Adams
be careful, as some of the re-pops are solid acrylic and will not support the lighting fixture that is optional for these hoods. read the ad and if in question, drop them a line to be sure prior to bidding
