BobT-47P15
Lou, I have used the liqud chrome polish followed by some liquid car wax on mine. Works fairly well. Depends on how bad they are, I guess. I think there was thread on this topic a while back. Edited February 20, 2010 by BobT-47P15
greg g
I have heard that soft scrub works. I think I used Nev r Dull wadding on mine. Edited February 20, 2010 by greg g
Uncle-Pekka
I have started with toothpaste using electric brush. That's very gentle method, does not harm surface any way. Most knobs come out clean & nice, finally wash with warm water. If there's dirt left, I do the same using abrasive sink washing detergent, e.g. CIF The next stronger would then be chrome polish paste, again applied by electric teeth brush. If the knob does not come clean after this, it's wasted anyway.
BobT-47P15
I think the "tooth" brush was originally invented in rural Arkansas...... Anywhere else, it might have been named the "teeth" brush. (from misc old dumb jokes I've heard)
