greg g
This is a repeat of the post on the P15 D24 board; Just recieved notice that forum member John Burke of Ithaca, Nebraska has died. John was a long time member who while, not active lately due to illness, was a frequent contributor to this forum. John hand built a Desoto 6 powered Model A roadster, and had several other stock and rodded MOPARS. John was also a renowned wood carver, and instructor of wood carving and a western style furniture maker. We had the pleasure of meeting John and Nancy, and had a ride throught he corn and sun flower fields in his roadster, on our trip to Yellowstone in 06. John was a very active member with a lot of knowledge and a easy willingness to share it. The Burke's address is 868 County Rt. 13 Ithaca, Ne. 68033 John will be missed by all who had the pleasure of his company. http://216.106.57.180/~burkes/
Johnny S
Condolences to his family. I always enjoyed John's thoughts and also that he was one of the seemingly few "midwest" Mopar guys. He was certainly a creative sort. John .... you will be missed.
Young Ed
RIP John I remember following the build up of the flat 6 street rod. Amazing skills with metal working have been lost.
