Frank Blackstone
Again the now orphaned Plymouth makes headlines in the New York Times . At least the editors have the good sense to recognize a enduring classic. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/06/automobiles/collectibles/06EGO.html?emc=eta1

JerseyHarold
It's always nice to read a warm and fuzzy article about a vintage Plymouth in the mainstream media. Maybe one of us should contact the owner of that car...if he's not already aware of this forum, it wouldn't hurt to inform him.
Frank Blackstone
Good Idea. I thought about doing that maybe through the newspaper writer. It seems he needs help fixing the radio and that little dab of rust on his quarter panel.
1940plymouth
I called him Sunday evening, no one was home, I left my phone number, he called back last evening. We had a very good visit. I told him about this site. He emailed me some photos of his Plymouth, and told me that he joined this site. He has one sharp looking original Plymouth
eric wissing
It was a nice article. It wasn't just about a car but about the owner too. A young owner at that. A good thing for the future. Eric
