that is good..there are more than the GM one wire option..heck there is even a Mopar one wire out there from what I read yesterday...

as for the amp guage...you have two major options here..upgrade to a larger capacity but this is unlikely to match so throw that sucker out...or parallel another one to the inside of the engine compartment and fuse both at 45 amp circuit breakers ..that way you have an indication of current drain anytime the hood is up...it doubles the amperage capacity by splitting the laod between the two..the fuse will protect both individually should for any unlikely event one should open..the actual reading on the dash unit will be 1/2 of your total draw..the circuit breaker will auto reset..
