Guest Bill_Laird
http://www.buriedcar.com/index.cfm?pageId=1 This should be something to see when they take it from it's tomb.
Normspeed
Hey Bill, check out the "who's going to Tulsa '07" thread. I'd go if I could work it into my schedule but no chance this year. Bill, ever live/work in Ft lauderdale Fla? I used to work with a Bill Laird there.
Guest Bill_Laird
Oops, should have read through the forum before posting a duplicate thread. Not me, have always worked in NY, NJ and NC.
Brad Lustig
I know there have been a few cars buried like this, all around that same time period. Anyone know if this is the first one to be pulled up?
Plymouthy Adams
Brad..do you recall what model car it was that Jimmy Hoffa was buried in?
David Maxwell
Pretty sure it was the Silhouette or the Red Hot Heap. Sure hope those little wire axles aren't too bent out of shape. I'd love to give it a run through my old Hot Wheel City!

David Maxwell
...which included some Hot Wheels among other things. My old school was completely demolished and replaced with a newer school about 10 years ago. I wonder what happened to the timecapsule and if those Hot Wheels will be in a similar condition to the Belvedere? I seem to remember our teacher actually used one of those official brass timecapsules they used to use back then.
