1947PLEVY
Hi All: I've been pretty busy here lately. Been working on the floors and decided to go ahead and set the motor and tranny back in place. I put the 327 with a 700r4 tranny in it. I had to buy a conversion kit for the motor mounts. Due to the motor sitting too far forward. Looks great in there now. I also put the doghouse back on. I might even be able to use the original radiator. Do you all think it will keep the motor cool enough? Also the Tranny has an electrical connection for the speedometer. Is there any conversion kit that I can get to hook it up to the original speedometer? So it will work. I haven't been able to take pics..camera is O.O.C... Take Care and God Bless Us All.. Normspeed
I've heard about the electronic speedometer setups, I think some of the T-5 transmissions also had those setups. Maybe someplace like Speedway or Jeg's might have some kind of adaptors.
