Aaron
Just talked to a guy that has a 1948 1.5 ton dodge he is advertising for $1000.00. He lives about an hour from me and I have not seen any pics or serial numbers yet, but he says it is in good condition. He last ran it a couple years ago and also has a hoist. Sounds like it needs a little work, but wanted to see if anyone had an opinion on that price he has it listed for? Too high, low, just right??? He is firm on the price as he says he has had lots of calls and even if he doesn't sell it, it will only go up in price in time! I will post pictures when I get them from him... 1949d100
I bought a 49 1/2 ton that ran and passed emission test for 1800.00, But I hear that the flat 6 is fairly easy to get going again.

1949d100
all cars, unless they qualify for Vintage or collector status have to if you live near Vancouver... and the hoops to jump through are hardly worth it unless you have a fully restored car/truck
Bradley S.
I bought my 1948 1-1/2 ton with a hoist for $500. It needs some body work, paint, fuel tank, some wiring work and alot of other little things to bring it back. I will post a picture. A similar truck to mine without a hoist sold for $300 on e-bay a few days ago. Brad
Bradley S.
If it is "Good" shape, I'd say it is worth the asking price.
wallytoo
seems like a good price. i paid slightly more for my '48 fa-152. the frame on mine is "as new", and the body/cab/floors are decent, working hoist, working 2-speed rear. wally
Allen I.
Don't forget the discount you get when you get to buy local. The only reason I have my B2C is because I found one nearby that could be driven home. There were many I saw that I could afford until I figured in the delivery and/or time to pick up with trailer rental. Enjoy the truck, I wish I could justify one of the bigger trucks.
