  1. ... the picture of one you posted is the first rear bumper bar I have ever seen. It may well be that this person fabricated it themself. Shouldn't be that difficult. If it's not something you or a friend can do, I would suggest you visit a shop that makes custom motorcycle exhaust pipes. They can quickly create just about any shape you like; then, either have them chrome it or send it out yourself. Not gonna be cheap, but I doubt you'll find one for sale. If you do, you can bet they'll be charging a small fortune for something so rare and it will probably need chroming too. Best of luck!
  2. ...I found a link to a site that has the entire book online. Just in cas anyone cares to read it that way... http://m.wattpad.com/27140?m=1
  3. ...pick up a few of those books myself
  4. I've always wanted to take a spin in one of those massive Chrysler coupes! Must be a blast! Merry Christmas!
  5. ... of everything. Now if I can just get the old curmudgeon to steer that puppy over to Tehachapi lol.
  6. ...like a Volkswagen lol.. Might have to exit my garage right into the Pacific Ocean!!
  7. ...but was way too tired to finish it. Missed the Plymouths.
  8. ...first using a layer of high density foam... perhaps 1/2 inch thick and then maybe 1 inch of regular foam. If you stack up the soft foam thick and then pull it tight, you either take all the absorption out of it or, if you don't pull it tight, you'll have loose shifting material. I'm NOT an upholsterer... just seems logical to me. Someone with real experience please chime in.
  9. ...back around 1975 and guessing that Chicago song to win an album. The album was from new group called "Q". I never opened or played the album. Just stuck a nail through it an hung it on the wall as a memento of actually being the "9th Caller" LOL! I think it was Disco and Davey don't play that lol.
  10. ...to look at Christmas lights and listen to my 40's Christmas music collection using the RediRad. Great time!
  11. ...and...uh..hum... NO! Sorry, but the Bose deck stays so when I get a hankering for some head banger stuff I can crank it up in STEREO LOL!!!
  12. ...were so over saturated that the hue shift turned the P15 purple
  13. ...which made me even happier to be living in California today! (Sorry Norm, had to rub that one in a bit ) Anyhow, I told everyone I would give you an update when I got it installed and tested. Turns out my first install didn't go well. There was a problem with the unit. However, before I could even call the manufacturer, they contacted me to let me know they had some problems with the 6 Volt Pos Ground units and wanted to know how mine was working. I let them know it didn't and they asked me to ship it back. Matt, the owner personally took care of it and had the unit back in my hands in less than 7 days from when I shipped it. He covered all the postage without even asking and the unit WORKS GREAT!!! I love this thing! The sound quality is amazingly clean from these old 802s. Keep in mind that I have all new electrical, a NOS speaker and I had Bob's Radio restore the 802 a few years back as well. So I'm not making any claims beyond that scenario. Still, I just love being able to play all my 40's tunes from my ipod through the original stereo.
  14. ...because they are the same images with the same creases and water stains. But no big deal... I'm not trying to claim them as original artwork or anything lol I wanted them out there fore anyone to see and use.
  15. ...own 5 acres in the Tehachapi Mountains north of the San Andreas Fault. If it does break off into the ocean, I'll be on the new California Riviera!! LOL!!
  16. ...so I'm gonna have to hop in my P15 and take a little cruise on the cilly winter day. Brrrrrr..... it's at least down to 70 out there..
  17. I think it's because they're the scans I made from my Ross Roy comparison pamphlet and converted to PDF for GTK so he could post them in the Downloads section of this site lol.. You probably came across them in a search and didn't realize you were downloading them from here, or, you came across a site where someone bootlegged them from her. Anyhow, they are nice images. Enjoy!
  18. which always made me curious why Chrysler Corp decided not to put trim there.
  19. ...with my Optima. Maintenance free and has never failed to start in spite of Intermittent long periods of non-use (two to three months).
  20. Since this was a real quicky job, I was hoping it would take people a while to figure it out. Great job! OH! but I have to tell you that the black line is actually there. It's the seam in the concrete. I reduced the opacity of the fake shadow so you could see the concrete through it.
  21. However, still not what I'm thinking about... I'll have to look into that Lead Warning. I'm not quite old enough to know when they started warning about lead. My guess is you are correct on that though.
  22. ...what looks like a clock on the pump is actually the original gallons purchased dial. Ya... the Built in 1934 is strictly for the tourists passing by. They really should have said Establish like you suggest. In fact, I'll make that recommendation to them. In any case, that's not the answer I was looking for lol.
  23. ...which some saavy viewer might comment on to tell us what's wrong...
