  1. Any way to diagnose /test it?...any tricks ...ill try to get a video to post..

I recently noticed a spinning noise from the clutch , when i let off the clutch peddle in neutral ........it then goes away when i press down on the peddle and engaged it ..peddle seem right 1 inch play..shifts smooth ..when driving..every once awhile it feels like its stammering hesitation..when it high gear going down the road..can tells if its the Montana wind hitting car or something slipping..?.. no real issue... but id like to figure it out before it becomes an issue...any info appreciated..also are there any members in the montana area..? send me can email and I can send you a video..it won't load up here for some reason ..thanks

  5. I was looking to gain a little more clearance with my Cambridge..Whats the tallest tire i can run..?...or minor modifications to get it up a bit....I'm in Montana ..back roads and driveways have a plethora of rocks ect ..out here..nothing radical , just a bit more clearance ...

  7. By tickling... i mean putting a little fuel in the carb...it starts right up..but won't keep running unless i put more fuel in..the fuel pump bowl is full.....sorry it took so long to get back..im working a buffalo hide at the moment..
  8. It ran well when parked this fall..I'm in Montana cold winters....full tank..fires right up when i tickle the carb..but its not getting any fuel delivery to the carb..bowl is full in the fuel pump..?...
  9. My 52 cambridge is not getting gas to the carb..the bowl is full on the lower fuel pump...it starts right up when the carb is trickled..any info appreciated
  10. it seems to refuel related.. I'm getting the pre start regiment dialed in..ive only had the car 1 month..three pumps and were off.....runs a little ruff when first started, clears up in a minute..gonna check my carb settings..thanks for the info.... keeper coming..im listening....
  11. yep I'm hear... didn't expect such a fast response.....batterys new..cables tight,new plugs, new cap, rotor, points...its the first start up in the morning thats been the problem..its been about 35 degrees ..had the carb rebuilt..could be the problem ?
  12. getting cold up hear in montana..my 52 cambridge isn't wanting to start.. I've read about single wire alternators ..any up grades available for a six volt system..my neighbor told me bosch makes a hotter coil and plug set..brings it up to 8 volt for starting ?? any info ...thanks

I've heard the old guy in missoula..west side auto.. does good work..was talking with him the other day..ive got an engine out of 53 cranbrook ill be rebuilding real soon..quoted me about 3 k for a total rebuild..217 to a 230 upgrade..im injured so its plug and play for me..for now......im in the missoula area.....pm me, well talk....
