  1. Woodrow, I've asked the same question about a year ago as my 53 body is currently sitting hard on the frame (mounts rusted thru the floor). I was just looking for the underside of any of the late 40's & early 50's Plymouths or Dodges to see what the originals looked like so I could duplicate them or get close. So hopefully someone out there can point us in the right direction! This is a great community on this forum and there is alot of useful information floating around on it!
  2. Todd, I was not offering these for sale in any way shape or form, Paul simply was asking for pictures of the parts for reference and I was just trying to show him what the removable panel on the passenger side looked like. I do apologize if my post was confusing or if I had misunderstood what his request was. Just trying to help with sharing information that's all
  3. PF, I believe they should be quite similar between the 53 & 54 but I could be mistaken. Oh and i may be delayed until tomorrow as we are supposed to get 8-10 inches of fresh powder today and then the temp is supposed to drop out the bottom of the thermometer (-11 for a high)... oh to be someplace warm right now haha - BA -
  4. Paul if you can wait until the end of the day, I have my inner fenders off in the garage and readily available if you are still interested in the removable side panel?
  5. After going back through this whole topic start to finish, its been a real treat to see how someone with such dedication end with something they can be truly proud of! Making me antsy to get my 53 done, PF you have been a great inspiration! Keep up the great work and I look forward to the progress on the Flaming Burbon!
  6. Thanks plymouthy, if I had a picture of the two between the foot well and rear seat it would be amazing, but this info is better than what I had. There is enough body and fab work to do to on this old girl that I figure to start easy!
  7. Good Morning Fellow Gearheads, I have a '53 Cambridge that I am getting a plan together for what work lies ahead. My body mounts minus the front couple on each side are no longer doing their intended job and the majority of the body is sitting hard on the frame. In looking at the mounts from below the car I can see what looks to be remanants of stiffners where each of the mounts bolt thru the floor. I have scoured thru the service manual and the motors manual to see what these look like to no avail. All I need is a picture so I can reproduce the proper structure for the floor and mounts. I want to get the old girl back on the road. Any help is greatly appreciated, I have searched high and low on the forums and found nothing. I do apologize if this has come up before and I simply did not see it. B.A.
