  1. Some advice for a engine and trans combo for a 1941 Chrysler c28. I have found a 1985 dodge 318 for 400.00. Really liked car all original engine 6 long. But after much tight and time decided while apart , frame off I should put something in it that would make it lil more summer useable. Louisiana has some long hot summers and figured if not 100 % original I should just go all the way. Not looking for a hot ride but just a interstate cruiser. Tranny is up next ? And so is rear end ? And when in question I know this is the site to seek for info.
  2. Looking to see if anyone has a original exhaust manifold for 25" head 6cyl.. I broke mine on the removal. I bought a set of split headers for it that i havent installed yet , would much prefer stock if i have a choice.
  3. Phil, thats the one and where i had put it just wasnt sure, cause it felt like the tension was a lil more than before . Guess it was all in my mind. Thanks alot for all the help i received.
  4. Thank you rick and jd , jd's pict shows the exact throttle assembly and shows spring but doesnt show the bracket that spring hooks to and where it bolts up at.
  5. Thanks a bunch , greatly appreciated. but on my engine its a lil different setup.
  6. In Need of a pict. Of throttle spring return bracket. I took pictures as i took apart the engine for paint and dont seem to have one of how it mounts back up. I thnk it mounts to one of the oil filter brackets studs, closes to firewall? Before the oil can bracket or after? Orientation?
