  1. Hey im building a 50 coronet too how is your project coming?

  2. THAT is correct. As a matter of fact, I just threw it all away. I had a for sale thread, but no one wanted anything, so in the garbage it all went!
  3. Just a quick update, there isn't one! I still have the car, but I currently have too much side work to do
  4. Real quick, if anyone can help me find out... How do I find which chassis i have? I know its a '50 coronet, but thats all I know really. It sat for 20+ years before I got a hold of it
  5. love your thread! I cannot wait to see mine on the road, i have a much longer way to go
  6. @Branded it's empty. But don't worry, my garage is small so I clear it out when playing with fire.
  7. i have not had MUCH time to work on the car, so i went a little wild today, and wanted to post some updated pics. front and rear suspension gone, rear end gone, working on dong center bracing soon. 1950 Dodge Coronet project by jonathan eme, on Flickr 1950 Dodge Coronet project by jonathan eme, on Flickr 1950 Dodge Coronet project by jonathan eme, on Flickr 1950 Dodge Coronet project by jonathan eme, on Flickr
  8. I keep trying to get in the garage to do some work. A nice flu, work, and family have kept me very busy. I'll be in soon though i cant wait to start bracing the frame!
  9. HA, "high-tech". SORRY for the lack of updates, have been working extra days at work, which turns into me not wanting to do anything. I've been slowly plugging away at cleaning the frame and removing the old cross member so i can install my new gussets.
  10. @CoronetGuy someone felt like deleting my thread over there, so I won't be visiting that site too much.
  11. Went out yesterday and bought 20' of .120" 4x2 rectangular tube for center frame gussets. Pics will be up once I start working on it this weekend.
  12. I started my for sale thread if anyone is interested. Today, I was able to remove the rest of the floor(on the frame) near the pedals. I also got the pedals along with the brake master cylinder and linkages involved off. My next goal is to remove the rear differential and rear suspension. Pics will follow
  13. day 2! Day two, and I have to admit, I'm pretty proud. Frame-off, no lift, no help. Just some stilts and an engine hoist BTW, I'm pretty confident this car spent some time in water. I have found POUNDS of sand in the body. Can anyone tell me the body style of the car, the chassis code? For Sale thread coming soon... 1950 Dodge Coronet day 2 by jonathan eme, on Flickr 1950 Dodge Coronet day 2 by jonathan eme, on Flickr 1950 Dodge Coronet day 2 by jonathan eme, on Flickr 1950 Dodge Coronet day 2 by jonathan eme, on Flickr 1950 Dodge Coronet day 2 by jonathan eme, on Flickr 1950 Dodge Coronet day 2 by jonathan eme, on Flickr updates will continue as they're done, but this will be a long thread.
