  1. I have stock 15" rims only and I put any 15" tires on it for rollers when I 1st started the restoration so I'm going blind with the wider ones. They're radials.
  2. I wanted to throw this out there, looked around but didn't see a solid answer. I found a screaming deal on some brand new P235/75R15 wide whitewall tires and wanted to see if anyone has any experience with this size fitting, I'm pretty sure we're good on the back but the fronts im concerned with rub when turning any help is appreciated. Thanks
  3. Hi Dale, what a great thing man, says a lot about your character and passion for these old cars. I just sent you an email as well I can be reached anytime at # below. im restoring our 48 with my son and will put to good use. V/R chris 562-310-7240
  4. Resleaved, this something one can do themselves considering they have an idea of what they're doing? Who sells the sleeves and new pistons for that matter that's trusting? Thx
  5. I have all the original old wheel cyl for front and rear been soaking in oil for a week now look in good shape, no signs of damage, plan on rebuilding them all myself with me pistons and rubber, I see lots avail online but thought to as anyone with experience in somewhere good that doesn't sell junk? Thanks

I just tore into it again and looks like a standard pilot bushing would do the trick, but if you guys know something different, like bushing from 218 not fit? 230 cam and tranny, bell housing, flywheel thanks in advance

Thanks. What's the stock set up? Where can I get a bearing to support the tip of the shaft?

I swapped out 218 to 230 kept 218 fly wheel , shaved bellhousing around starter so would hit ring, put tranny shaft through to line up clutch plate the tightened, now I'm wondering if I need a pilot bearing as the 230 cam didn't have as it had the HI -DRIVE. From what I recall seeing is that there's no room for one since HI - DRIVE. Regards!
  10. Hey! You commented on some bench seats and noticed I was in LA, Cerritos actually, my ride is a work in progress but would love to join for breakfast if the timing works. Thanks -Jarv
  11. Thanks will do. You recall what you were charged?
  12. Hi Don, I'm having to do the same thing to my bell housing, I'm actually bringing to the shop tomorrow to get a price, the 1st guy I went to didn't seem to know what he was doing, my questions to you if you don't mind, do you recall the depth yours was actually milled and do you recall what you were charged? Thanks- Jarv
